Garnet Handwriting Bracelet

Have your loved one’s actual handwriting commemorated as a special keepsake sterling silver bracelet, with the addition of beautiful red garnet gemstones.

Often my handwriting jewellery is commissioned as a piece of bereavement jewellery to remember a loved one by, and from what I have heard can bring a sense of comfort to the recipient. Of course they are not only memorial pieces, they can celebrate the first time that your little one writes their name or “mummy” or “grandma”. Or perhaps a simple word such as “love” for a close friend or family member in your own handwriting.

Your bracelet will be entirely handmade by myself, Daisy. No machinery is involved in my work. I hand saw every piece from sterling silver sheet. If the word(s) that you choose are longer than around 2cm I also form the pendant giving it a gentle curve so that it sits nicely on your wrist.

The beads are 4mm in size meaning that they do not overpower the silver pendant part of the bracelet, and keep the bracelet feeling pretty and dainty.

I use special sterling silver beading wire which is incredibly strong yet flexible.

My work also carries my hallmark which is kept at the Birmingham assay office, UK.

Garnet is the birthstone for January.

Your bracelet will be a standard size with an extension chain on the end allowing it to measure from small to large (17cm to 21cm).

Your bracelet will come in a box with the Made By Daisy logo on the lid and a custom insert card, printed with the handwriting used to create the piece. I love to create those extra special touches to my work. You can also choose to have your order giftwrapped by checking the tick box at the checkout. I use giftwrap that I source especially from a fellow UK small business that designs and hand screen prints their own range.
